Is PMP difficult?
First of all, the PMP exam is not difficult. We can know that from the PMP Test questions:
PMP paper is 200 multiple choice questions, Chinese and English, one out four, answer with ABCD!
PMP Examination Time: 4 hours of written examination (9:00 a.m. – 13:00 p.m.)
Among them, 25 questions were not scored, and more than 106 questions were correctly answered, you can pass it. The reference ratio was 106 / 175, 60.57%
It is estimated that if you answer (106 + 25) questions correctly, you can pass the exam. The reference ratio is 131 / 200, 65.5%
Although all of them are multiple choice questions, and the examination time is sufficient, we can’t take a casual attitude toward the PMP Exam.
PMP Certification focuses on the understanding of the fifth edition of PMBOK textbook and the transformation of Project Thinking Mode!
You can’t just think about deferring questions. Some PMP Training Institutions let PMP students do questions crazily. That’s to cope with the PMP Exam completely. If they pass the exam, they just get a piece of paper. It’s hard to learn the essence of Project Management.
What Is the Difficulty of PMP Exam in 2019?
Most of the content of PMP Exam comes from PMBOK. PMBOK is the official teaching material for PMP Certification and the Examination Outline of PMP Exam. It includes five process groups, ten knowledge systems and 47 sub-process groups of Project Management. Totally Understanding the PMBOK is one of the keys to pass PMP Exam. However, the specific difficulty of PMP Exam varies from person to person, because everyone has different degrees of mastery of the Project Management Knowledge System, so they will have different feelings about the difficulty of the exam. If they are not clear about their understanding of the knowledge, it is suggested to find some simulation questions or exercises of the PMP Examination first to feel the difficulty of the examination, and then make targeted preparation.

After all, the fifth edition of teaching materials has been used for a period of time, and all kinds of training materials and examination experience will be richer. The content of the sixth edition of teaching materials will increase, and the difficulty will also increase.
What Is the Value of PMP?
First, PMP Certification Examination is an official, formal and global examination introduced by the State Administration of Foreign Affairs.
Second, many domestic enterprises have defined PMP certificate as an important qualification for project managers (please refer to the recruitment documents of major companies).
Third, the PMP certificate has global recognition and is considered as a sign of talents in Project Management Industry.
Fourth, if you are in the Management, it is the icing on the cake, speeds up the promotion and broadens the promotion channels. But if you aren’t in the management, it can serve as a stepping stone to your career change and the best proof of your strength.
Every company hopes that the more excellent the employees are, the better it is. So the company hopes to see more people with certificates, but more doesn’t necessarily mean better. We have to work hard to do better. PMP is just the stepping stone.
